I have a few of the new cs3 packages,

dreamweaver
Illustrator
photoshop extended

now, don't get me wrong, I love the new version of dreamweaver, but I used to use fireworks all the time, so do I continue using that with dreamweaver, or do i attempt to get my head around one of the others, and if so; which one.

fireworks is still fireworks - i'd continue to use that

incidentally, what do you use fw for? i used to use it just for making javascript navigation

slicing and exporting comps, and exporting images straight to dreamweaver.

you can use photoshop to do that now

I got it too... I am using FW as that was my previous method, no need to change. The new FW has some pretty slick features.

i havent tried it as i got design premium and still have yet to use indesign, lol

I use fireworks all the time. I wont use Photoshop anymore when doing anything web related. Fireworks is a must have app when giving applications a visual design.
The new feature PAGES and SHARED LAYERS and well hmm 9-Scale Slicing is by far the best features.

I use fireworks for designing. When working with Adobe they got me hooked and I never stopped using it.


I think it's underrated and most people don't realize what you can do with Fireworks.
