Default New to Quark and floundering...

Hi all,

I learned all that I know today about graphic design (that puts me as beginner status) on the Adobe system. Now at my new job I am using Quark and am infinitely frustrated at the fact that everytime I import an Image from Illustrator, the colors become distorted in some way. Can anyone out there drop some knowledge...?
