Default Adobe Photoshop CS3

Well i must admit when i downloaded this file i wasnt impressed. the BETA just seems bad, i notice the installer being bad for starters and when i got into CS3 it took long to load and also no imageready!

whats your views on this? anybody else BETA tested it?

I've got to admit I've got a little softspot for Imageready, everyone seems to hate it but I find really helpful for certain things.

I can never really be ***** with beta stuff, to be honest. In my (admittedly limited) experience it's usually buggy as **** and you inevitably decamp back to the old faithful.

I enjoy beta testing emensely, but if you're going to do it you really need:

a) a totally seperate machine for beta testing, testing beta software on your primary rig is never a good idea.

and

b) to bare in mind that a beta release is exactly wht it implies, it is not finished, it's gonna be buggy as hell, it's gonna crash itself and your system.
However this is the whole point of beta testing, many companies depend on testers reports to resolve issues with certain hardware and software.

Mick.
