Default InCopy

Hi,
Has anyone used or have experience with InCopy?
A friend and I are thinking of going into creative and copywriting, offering web design/development and copywriting/journalistic services for PR and sales. I use Photoshop and Notepad++ for my web work, but we're pondering a) what exactly InCopy does, and b) is it worth investing in?

So can anyone give a brief run down on what it does? I'd download a trial but for some reason or another Adobe's trial downloads are offline...

Thank, Harry

As far as I understand it, InCopy allows for a single text interface and changes in it update into the design within InDesign. Effectively it means the designer can be confident his work is lefty intact (though will require checking) and save time having to repaste in text and reapply a style (if you've used them). The only reason it ain't used much is often the copy writer and designer are not that well linked, if they are, then bingo.
