I like how Toon has made more sense of the typology, putting 'Family Support' at the the top and 'Partnership Lanarkshire' at the bottom. I'd ideally like to keep the Myriad Roman font and the colours as they are, maybe incorporating a nice grey and white.

As an idea for the logo-element I'd thought about three overlapping circles of colour to symbolise the partnership, something simple and non web2.0. Here's a few examples of logos etc I like...

The bottom logo looks too much like the RGB icon. And the top one looks like 2 fetus'. I do a lot of probono work for nonprofits and I do understand the money issue, but do you realize how popular a logo designer that Toon already is and he gets paid very good for his logo design work? With that said, I really like the logos that Toon created for you, maybe you can reconsider and use one of them.
