its getting there, try a 3rd image where the text is but change the opacity down to maybe 60% or gradually change the opacity of the banner from 60% to 100% from left to right, so it doesnt look like its just green then images. maybe to add a more professional look

thanks for all this feedback Dustin...its been really helpful, I presume you mean make the green opaque and add an image behind it? if this is not what you mean could you please elaborate a bit more ;)

Id either try that, or try to get a corresponding image that links the trees to another set of trees like you did with the other 2, and make that image opaque and insert the text over that, also you may want to try to make "Bolder" or (text that sticks out more) maybe try to create in illustrator and import it.

i dont know what you will all this of this but it is more a commerical design which bores me senseless and your comment earlier on in the topic 'LogicalLogos' is a disgrace the education system is doing wonders in my case passed a btec national diploma with distiction distiction distiction and now doing a HND at a college that is on parr with st martins (Matthew boulton College, Birmingham)

If your calling what you just displayed as a Banner, as skills.. thats a giant disgrace to the whole work force of Graphics designers in the world. Please uninstall your photoshop. or what ever program you used to create that.

Rybo, why not just take the comments in your stride? hes given me some great advice which has helped me come up with better banners and Im grateful for that...why not take it as a challenge to come up with something better?
