Mobile/Web Designer Sought For London-Based Social Networking Application

About Us:

We are a new, London-based social networking startup. Our service works on a tested model that combines elements from 'traditional' social networking (extensible profiles, friend lists, chatrooms, etc.) with elements from dating sites (search by gender, age, location, private chats, public and private photo galleries, and so on) and various contests, challenges and competitions. We provide a community where people can create a persona (real or fictional), meet other people online and then translate that in to real meetings if they would like. The basic service will be free on both web and mobile with revenue being generated by chargeable added extras, certain mobile activity and advertising.

What We're After:

We are looking for a designer to help us get the look and feel right on mobile and web. We have a pretty clear workflow at this point, but would prefer someone with some IA experience. You wouldn't be working completely from scratch on the web as we already have an app with a standard two-column layout (you could, however, convince us to change this if you've got a better idea). Mobile is very important to our strategy, so you should have experience of working on mobile sites. At the very least, you should have a clear understanding of their limitations in contrast to web sites. Ideally, you would also have some experience of branding and have worked on sites targeted at the 18-25 year-old demographic.
