Workplace Market for Graphic Designers in London

Hi all.

My name is Fabio and I'm a graphic designer from Brazil.

As my girlfriend might have a job opportunity in London, I was wondering what would be of me if I went along with her, so I decided to get in this forum and ask you people about the workplace market for me in London. How are things for designers that just arrived in the city? Is it very hard to find a job in the area? Would I have trouble finding a job being a foreigner?

In other words, how long would I have to wait at restaurants before I find myself a work in my expertise area? :)

I can't say too much as I'm more up North but generally the markets as open as how good you are, if you're very talented alot of places will make a position for you, there's a big battle on in the city right now and many people are moving about for more money so there's always opportunities. I'll keep an ear out for anything.
