Hi everyone,

I'm Looking for urls / pdf CV's from experienced creative people who have a proven track record of generating and closing sales through creative consultancy along with general production skills. We know this isn't for everyone as we're looking for people who have the kind motivation and initiative to work for themselves. This is a target based role, so not for the faint hearted! - but for the right person (perhaps you're running your own business but hate the admin / or don't posess the bredth of skills your clients demand etc etc) this role may be perfect.

We all work remotely, so location isn't a major issue, however being based in the North of England (north west ideally) would be desirable, as thats where those who will be working with you are based.

We're looking for both web / cross platform / interactive and a print senior designers, so we're very open to people with various backgrounds providing they are experienced and prepared to take responsibility and muck in.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Senior Design Consultant

Working with a Junior Designer, office manager and other team members, you will develop the creative output of the company, develop new business and ensure work is handled efficiently through a consultative and client focused process.

Reporting directly to the company directors, this is a creative consultancy based role with clear business development / sales targets. However, an ability to manage a small creative team and work with the technical team is essential.

The role will suit someone who is highly motivated and keen to help develop a winning team within the framework of an existing business. A full driving license is also required

Job Description:
You will be ultimately responsible for the performance and day to day operation of the design section of the business to include:
Sourcing new work and following leads through to production.
Providing creative consultancy to clients in Cumbria and surrounding areas.
Monitoring and quality control of all design work.
Line management for your team (1 or 2 junior designers, plus freelancers as required)
Maintaining brand values of the company through creative promotion and marketing work.

Job Requirements: ( essential background )
Commercial design production experience in relevant area
Technical production skills in current industry standard software (Adobe Creative suite 2 or 3)
Proven ability to deal with prospective customers and clients.

Additional desired experience:
Staff management and or project management experience.
Experience of design for web or other digital media.
Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
Marketing experience.
