    Google Placement

I have a paying project for a current client of mine. The client is a real estate agent and wants to pay for the ability to come up first in the search engine when you search for "Pine Mountain Lake", "Groveland" and various other local terms that have to do with real estate.

This will be an ongoing project for the right person. Please send a resume with clients you have done this for (references basically with contact information) and how much you want for the project per month.

    Thanks!
    Christina

You clearly don't because the SEO on your own website is atrocious.

I don't mean to seem flippant, but the way to pay and guarantee 1st rankings in search engines is use their Pay Per Click advertising like Adwords. To be listed first, all you need to do is bid top rates on your chosen keywords - you don't need to pay a professional to do this for you.

Otherwise, you can pay a professional SEO to increase search visibility across a wide range of search terms, increase SE referrals and possibly improve converion rates.

As a professional SEO, my advice is - don't think that you can pay anyone, other than a search engine, to guarantee 1st place in Search Results. I suggest that you/your client reads up on what Search Engine Optimisation is and set your targets with that knowledge.

I am by no means a pro at SEO, but asking for someone to guarantee you number one results in a search engine is damn near impossible. You're pretty much setting yourself up to get ripped off. The only way you can guarantee results for certain keywords is to you sometime like Google AdWords for paid results. As for generic searches, rankings are based SOLELY on the engine itself and no individual knows the formula that each major search engine ranks by. However, each search engine do provide guidelines on what you shouldn't do and may do.

To get you started, take a look at these links:

    Some of Google's guidelines:
Webmaster guidelines - Webmasters/Site owners Help

Some of Bing's (MSN/Windows Live) guidelines:
    Bing Webmaster Center

On a final note, BEWARE OF PERSONS AND SITES CLAIMING TO GUARANTEE RANKINGS ON SEARCH ENGINES. Most of these guys are plain out ripoffs or use "link farms" to boost rankings (something that is frowned on by most major search engines)

I hope my rant has helped you out in at least the slightest :).
