How is this employment if there is no renumeration?
Your plea is a classic; "Unfortunately we can't pay for this"
I say I call your cheapness, blow it away and I'll pump my energy into something profitable.
Hello! We are shooting a film in April and are in need of an instruction manual for a syringe, done in the style of those crappy medical emergency procedure manuals. We need it for a scene when the nurse accidentally stabs an old man in the face with the syringe. Here are a couple of references:
We've put a lot of hard work into the production values of this film and are trying to make it as believable as possible - we've even gotten beautiful locations, great actors, great equipment and a great crew! Unfortunately we can't pay for this so it will only have to be a thing for the ole CV, a copy of the dvd and an invitation to the screening at The Old Cinema (The first place in Britain where the Lumiere brothers showed their first film), and helping us make a really good film. Please let me know if any of you are interested and we'll discuss it further!
Cheers
Orestes
P.s I've attached some extra references

2010 is gonna be a good year... dammit!
Hold on I'll just whip one up... you obviously have no idea how much work is involved in this
I'm presuming from some of the cultural references and the use of the non-word 'gotten' that you're in the USA. In which case I don't know the equivalent of the HMSO, but have you considered just trying to obtain a genuine manual from somewhere?
We're students doing a project outside of uni. No one is making money off this film. Everyone working on the film is doing it as a collaboration because they love what they do - even the actors who are well known are doing it as a collaboration. Similarly I was hoping to find someone who enjoys doing this kind of stuff and so would be happy to do it anyway (as most people working on this film are). If you don't wanna take part and If you're only interested in money then just dont reply and go find someone who'd be willing to pay you.
