What's the pension scheme like?
Pity I suck at web stuff in general otherwise I'd be applying for this!

Really? How does that work then?
You sort out your own pension. It's nothing new, not all businesses offer pension schemes. Legally they need to provide help with pensions, the minimum is to suggest a company and get someone to come in to talk to you regarding setting one up.
Most jobs I've had offer pension schemese after 6 months, but not all.
Ah, right but surely there's a state pension?
No state pension either! When you get a job your employer legally has to add money into a Superannuation account for you, which is relative to your pay. You can also add in extra money to bolster up the account. The money is invested by your Super fund manager, so when the stock market crashed a whole bunch of people looking to retire lost a whole chunk of their retirement fund.
Your employer is legally supposed to do this, but my former employer decided not to pay super for a year, so now the tax office has been fighting to get a years worth of super back for me. Probably won't ever see it again, the ******** :(
