need a logo designing, whats a fair price?

Hi all.. i need a logo/truck livery designing, i am happy to pay a price, but i don't want to offend anybody but also i really cannot afford big bucks.

its for a removal company, needs to be simple, but eye catching and modern..

hope someone can be of assistance.. or should i just name a price and see who/what hits me?

Cheap company low budget they go hand in hand. You can tell he went for the cheap option with his website, built with tables, no SEO that's why no one can find it, bad business choice sir, you should be willing to pay the pro option if you want your business to progress in a positive way.

See Exibit A - You don't rank for removals in your local area, sorry, like I said bad choice on your behlaf choosing a cheap option with your site, please don't make the same mistake with your brand.

I would say you got some very helpful advice, especially about the site, maybe some people could give you some pointers and help you in a positive way, spitting the dummy out because we won't put 50+ designs forward in the hope that you choose ours isn't positive. Our time costs money and that money pays the bills, you expected us to get offended so why be shocked at it and not discuss with us why you can only afford a small amount and why you feel a site that can't be found in google is positive for your business?

well put, it's a shame business owners don't treat designers as business owners and value their product in the same way they value their own. People weren't taking the p*ss just putting it into terms a fellow business owner might understand. Seriously.

Ok. point taken.. small budget as we are a local family run business not a great big multi national firm, we don't have spare cash to throw around on something that might not even bring us anymore work, especially in these quiet times... i am sure you all know what the current economic climate is like, and house prices struggling? trying to convince the business owner that spending £££'s on graphic design at the minute is hard enough..

I don't know nothing about web design, it was done by a friend who does do web design i specifically asked him to try and get us into quite high up in google/good key words that i thought he had done, but others say otherwise?

I came on here with the intention not to offend anybody, which is why in my first post i stated that, but when i seen the thread not going anywhere i took the advice to name a price.
