That right Carl not everybody has Flash installed on their computer, only 98.8% of the whole world. There are millions of Flash only sites around now, there is no need to have a HTML file as well.

There's also millions of 'web developers' out there that don't seem to grasp the fact that having flash only sites without an alternate (x)html version is a really, really bad idea. Search engine bots cannot read flash, mobile browsers don't handle flash well if at all (especially full flash sites), screen readers cannot read flash, low-bandwidth users despise flash (yes, they do still exist), a lot of people with flash installed have it turned off to block ads, and a lot of other people just don't like it.

P.S. 87.4% of statistics are bovine excrement.
