Default CSS & Dreamweaver

Hello, I would like to know what good books or resources there are to learn CSS within dreamweaver. I have gotten some CSS resources but none are specific to learning CSS with dreamweaver, I see CSS is very powerful stuff and if anyone could guide me, I would appreciate it. I currently come from a HTML, Flash background and would love to understand CSS but nothing that puts me in a cyclone

Well to be honest, any CSS resource will work alongside DW because it's the same code wherever, whether it be notepad or Dreamweaver. However, this may help.

yes, css is css, and to use it in dreamweaver is no different, actually there's not much learning involved in designing css in dreamweaver but the book will help you out for sure - the app is mostly pretty intuitive and easy to use, the book will act as reference, personally i think the books are overpriced, look on the web first to see what you can find on dreamweaver before you plumpt for the book

The trick is having a knowledge of CSS and what the different properties do and also learning how combinations of CSS properties affect the styling of your pages. Once you understand the basics you'll be able to use CSS with any program really, cos it's just a list of things. The syntax is very simple.

Pete. :)

I concur, CSS is CSS. Dreamweaver is merely a place to write it. Though it does aid in code / css creation as any good IDE.

That Gordy Mac article was pretty good I thought.

Which online tutorials worked for you ? For me looking at other peoples stuff, I really don't grasp it, I guess it works for some doesn't work for others.
