I dont have IE8 on my home PC; I just dont do updates for IE, therefore I can use the original IE6.
At work we use a program that allows multiple versions of IE to be installed; I'll get the name of it later for you...
(sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this)
I am testing my CSS on PC with Fox, IE8, Chrome, Opera and Safari and on Mac Fox and Safari. Of course this is not enough and I always get to the same problem: how to test in IE6 and IE7?
I have tried using online viewers like netRenderer but it's so annoying waiting those seconds to render an image. I am used to type fast some modifications and I want a quick refresh of the page but...ya know...
How do you people get over this issue?

Oh that will be so great - thank you!
Install multiple versions of IE on your PC | TredoSoft but don't rely upon it fully. It's a bit buggy.
There's also IE Collection.
@sionnach I have install it and when I open the IE6 browser there is no address field and if I try to open it from View I get an error and it closes. I tried to drag and drop a website shortcut on the IE6 icon to open it and I get error again. Damn...
What kinda errors do people have with multipleIEs? Does it render incorrectly or does it just crash or something?
Seems to work fine for me.
Subtlety is my middle name... and first and last in case you didn't get the point.

Perhaps you've never heard of IE6, the nightmare browser for web developers around the world. :) It's not standards-compliant, meaning it incorrectly renders stuff and doesn't support other stuff. IE7 and IE8 have taken steps in the right direction with regards to improvement, but they can still be frustrating.
