    text lower in FF than in IE, Chrome, Safari

    Hey everyone. If you go here: Get Your Website Page 1 of Google, FREE TRIAL you will see the text at the bottom (under the video), increase traffic, generate leads, create sales. In firefox, that text is quite a bit lower on the page than it is in IE7, Chrome, and Safari. Can anyone tell me why that is? My css is located here: http://jamieisherwood.ca/free/ji.css

    Thanks.

    the paragraph is wrapping down because of the floats....I did get it to move closer to the btm of the video but adding this to the "subvidtext" :

    position:absolute;
    top:480px;
    left:75px;

    I removed the margins (top and left). Only thing to consider is the text will be locked here, just saying this in case your page will expand in height ABOVE the paragraph.

    Thanks for the reply. I try to stay away from position:absolute if at all possible, but if it is going to solve my issue, I may need to implement it. I appreciate the help. Thanks again.

    Ignoring the act that it all looks spammy as f*ck, you seem to build all your pages in the worg order. That's a 2col layout, ergo video and you ALL CAPS SHOUTY STUFF (I'm sure I mentioned the importance of text-transform:; to you elsewhere…) go in a floated left div, the rest in a right one.

    LOL. A pleasure as always Harry. I can always count on you to tell it like it is (quite gracefully I may add). LOL. Well, I did do the right col, but I will also do a floated left div and see how that goes. I will use the text-transform also (I forgot this time).

    Cheers,
    Kris.

    Sweet, did not know about text-transform! I thought there should be a css property that did this. Kudos Harry.

    Yeah sorry, I was a little blunt. Rushed off my feet tonight but I always like to help.

    Re the text transform, there's an okay article here, but my comment clears up the author's 'errors' lol: Transform your text with text-transform | Devlounge

    Thanks Harry. Can you have a look at it now: Get Your Website Page 1 of Google, FREE TRIAL and tell me if the layout is any better. I did a left column div and a right column div as you suggested. Thanks. I used the text-transform as well :)

    Infinitely better! Works a treat doesn't it?

    You'll find that if you plan a build out to the minutest detail you'll whiz through when it actually comes to coding it. I did a really complex layout the other night. I spent about an hour planning in my mind, then it only took about three hours to build. If I hadn't planned I guarantee that four hour total would have been more like ten lol.

    Kris.
