Where things actually end up seems to be heavily dependant on monitor resolution and browser window size. It's probably a product of using a mixture of fixed and relative sizing and positioning.
I thought i was using only absolute positioning?
im sorry if i sound like a noob. im honestly puzzled to why i cant get it centered for everyone, and now its a wasted effort because i wont be getting payed for it, til ive fixed it :(. but one thing that did solve it was when i told the people using firefox to go to view, zoom and reset.
so maybe it mainly browsers and not my coding?
Ok just for a beginning. Try changing the news class left to 220px
and the bookings class left to 740px
Incidently, you normally use classes when you want the affect to be across more than one tag. unless you have more than one div that requires styling in exactly the same way as the news div then use id's instead of classes. The way you have done it won't stop it working but using id's makes more sense and makes your mark-up more readable.
i did what you told me and it has FIXED it
i did it for all the div classes.
all the people it wasnt working for , and also combined with the
View ---> zoom ---> reset made it work!
thank you so much guys!! legends. :)
