I'm at a loss! Usually I just type <code> in my HTML file and I can write HTML or PHP, but now I want to create an advise table for my friends so they can also write articles and: the <code>-Tag doesn't work!

It's cos you're writing html inside the code tags. You need to make < into <, > into >, " into " etc.
