Try adding overflow:hidden; to the wrapper (outside) div. It sounds like a float issue.
Ok, unfortunately I don't have a sample of this to show so I am hoping someone can help me just from my explanation.
I have one DIV 'box' that is a background to a content section of my site. It is 750 pixels wide, and the height is 100%. I have that working, including the 100% 'stretch'.
But...
I want to place another DIV inside that box for some text content. But when I do this, the ''inside DIV' overflows my 'background DIV' if there is a large amount of text. And the background DIV no longer stretches to right to the bottom of my page (100%). There is a gap at the bottom, and the inside DIV content overflows into that gap.
I want the background DIV/box to stay at 100% height, and stretch/enlarge to accomodate the inside DIV/box
Not sure if I have explained this well enough, but if anyone has any pointers from what I have typed, thanks in advance.

Thanks! It seems to have solved the problem in Firefox/Camino I just have to test it out in IE.
No worries. Lemme know how it goes :)
