Default rollover image map HELP!

I need to make a rollover image map with tool tip. I am new to CSS and though I have researched on how to do this I have to admit I am a bit overwhelemed by all the coding.

I have the 2 images for the rollover and the 8-10 quotes which will "pop up" when the mouse hits the hot spots.

Anyone up for the challenge? And what would you charge?

Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Dianna

Welcome to the forums first of all. Couldn't you try something like this.

DHTML JavaScript Tooltips

That is close, but I need numerous "hot spots" on the image that rollover to another image AND pops up a "tool tip".

I have seen it done when I researched CSS Rollover Image Map, but the coding was overwhelming for me (I am new to CSS) and was hoping to hire someone to do the coding for me.

Thanks!

Is the top style here similar to what you need? (welcome by the way)

Yes!! The "second map" is the look I am after. I have the two images (first to be displayed and the rollover) but when I look at all the coding that needs to be done to accomplish this I get overwhelmed.

I need help and am willing to pay for it. :-)

And thank you for welcoming me here!

yeah css can be tricky to do with this sort of thing, the easiest way would be slices in imageready or use flash, does it have to be css?
