Is anyone from the forum go to MacWorld Expo in San Fran?

I had planned to go this year, but it snuck up on me, so I'm stuck in the woods. I haven't gone since the late 90s.

That's what I said when Apple got rid of the 3.5" floppy drive. But I didn't look back. So getting rid of the CD is basically the same thing. With thumb drives so much in use, there shouldn't be a problem with transferring files.

But how will you get the next OS? If all you own is a MacBook Air, and you go to the store to buy the new OS (after Leopard), how will they hand it to you? On a thumb drive? Or will it be downloadable?

I haven't used a CD to put the latest on my computer for about 4 years now. I get an update from Apple that downloads from online.
