What about other software, like Adobe CS? ... Or if you want to put your music onto iTunes? Someone will be making a bit of money on external DVD drives I think!

they have an optional DVD drive thats USB powered for 100 bucks and as far as software you can install off another computers drive over wifi

i think the external DVD drive is a good idea.

It means that you can have a super sleek laptop and if u need a DVD drive u can just bring it with ya.

dont like the whole no audio input though

whats the point have a super sleek laptop if you are lugging around accessories? and its not meant to be a hard working computer. just bare essentials, more or less for the " i only use my laptop to check myspace and steal music" type people. personally, doing any kind of design, i want something with more than 1 usb port.
