apps I should get for my new macbook pro?

So with my new macbook pro on the way, anyone have a list of apps (preferably free) that I will need, like on a daily basis? not just graphic design apps, but everyday kind of stuff as well?

The widgets on apple.com are cool. You can find interesting stuff there.
I found some color palettes and stuff very handy.

Adobe creative suite! depending on how much you work on Graphic design and scripting but would be a great buy.

thanks guys. Yes, I already thought about the creative suite, in fact, I have already got the Design Premium 3.3. With my educational discount I got it for $600. I was hoping to get it for $400 with the current promotion but i didn't qualify since I work for k-12 and not a university. oh well. just waiting on the mac to get to me now. last i checked fedex said it was in alaska, lol.

with my post, i was more referring to little free apps that you see around the web that you may think come in handy.

been playing around with the ipod touch that came with the purchase. pretty cool stuff. looking forward to that app store mac will be going live with soon.

guys, so i've had my macbook pro for about a week now. definitately takes some getting used to, but i'm liking it.

Does anyone else here use Synergy? I just got it up and working and it's freaking awesome. it allows me to jump between my macbook pro and my windows pc desktop by just moving the mouse cursor from one display/monitor to the other and my keyboard follows over to the other computer for using. not to mention i'm using a logitech bluetooth dinovo laser mouse/keyboard combo and it works pretty darn good.

of course to get full functionality out of the mx1000 i had to install steermouse on the mac, but oh well, it's a nice program.

thanks for all the suggestions. i had already loaded up: cyberduck, quicksilver, handbrake, time tracker, steermouse, to name a few
