Default Website/Graphics design and development company

Hi there,

I have recently began to set up my own website design company. I would just like your views and opinions on my new site for my company.

Do you feel that it conveys professionalism?
Do you think that it will attract customers?

Also, do you think the pricing is reasonable?

I would also like to know any other suggestions you may have.

The site is http://www.kh-labz.net

Thanks in advance,

Kieren

I think the pricing is more than reasonable. The site is self is nice and clean and to the point. I'm not a fan of the orange but that might just be me. I think the logo could do with a change to make it have a little more impact. Apart from that it's
a good start to a site.

I used to have Macromedia Dreamweaver, don't have it any more unfortunately. I also have photoshop but obviously thats purely graphical rather than for actual website building. Are there any particular programs you would recommend?

Starting to hand code would be the best start for you, this will be a good start.

I've actually done tonnes of hand-coding, as originally I only had a HTML editor. Just that I though I'd make my company site on frontpage as it's easier and less time-consuming.

Here's my old personal site that I coded about a year ago www.freewebs.com/alwayslive

Ahhh Iframes!!!!! run.... only kidding..

I'd stick to hand coding, to be honest the front page site code doesn't look as bad as I expected it to, but an external css style sheet for text and positioning will help in the long run.

Hi Kieren,

Nice fresh looking site. As the others have said, definitely try and go down the route of learning to code by hand, no reason why you can't use Frontpage in code view and switching to design view to see how it's coming along.

Be good to have links to the sites on your Clients page, first thing most will look for on your site is a portfolio and links to work you've already done.

All the best,

Sarah
