As a fellow brummie i am offened by you guys i think birmingham is a great place to be right now and graphic design is really going up..but with young NONCOPORATE designers.

Commerical is that way forward...boring coporate design is ruining design in birmingham i will take over the world from my little studio in brum one day mark my words

No need to attack people all the time, you should be looking more to creating partnerships, affiliates and friendships, not enemies!

blueocto birmingham has a bad name for design and its these type of people that have give it that i am part of a new bread of designer in the 2nd city and i just despise this type of design as lazy no narrative and has been thought about has no concept just there to look pretty

I have had no complaints from any clients, and prices are O.K compared to other printers in Birmingham.

Does seem a bit harsh to attack the guy just from where he is from. My only point would be why the heck are you advertising design services to a forum full of designers? Seems a bit pointless, advertise on business forums full of business owners looking for designer!

Like your reply Laura, at least you a little more understanding thanks for that, i just thought why not let people on this forums know too, i mean what's wrong with just letting people know about the site it may help someone who is in need of prints & design etc..

Alot of non-designers do visit the forum, looking for designers and obviously post in the "employment" section and I'm sure that is why Toon put it there.
Let him advertise, we all do it :)
