Don't pay to you are absolutely satisfied - you may get burned that way man. Usually it is good practice to at least ask for a deposit, mainly because your time is worth money and you don't want to spend time and effort on a site that you aren't getting paid for in the end.

yes, i know; but i am very trusting and it hasn't happened yet. but if it ever does,then i'll change my policy.

Pink donut offered free websites then 3 days later had to start charging. Good way to build a portfolio.
It's hard work until you've got a client base.
