Looking for work

Hi my names Ben Gibson and im currently in my third year at university studying a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design. As of yet i have not actually worked for any personal clients, other than local bands and small projects for friends. Im currently looking to finance the creation of my own online portfolio in the form of a website and domain name, and so any work i can find would be most useful in allowing me to achieve this.

Currently i have a myspace page which has work i have done in the last year os so, if u are interested in giving an up and coming designer with talents in print, corporate identity and many other forms of promotion a chance, please take a look at my page.

Welcome to the forum Karp. I tried to look at your MySpace page, but it won't show up. Although I did see one of your designs towards the bottom. Nice work.

My suggestion to get your website completed is to barter with a programmer. You do their design and they do your programming.

Nice one! Well i really want to do the webdesign by myself, im a bit of a perfectionist, and dont really want anyone else working on anything thats gona be seen by potential clients and is gona sell me as a creative. Ive just got into using flash, and so working on a site will be a great help to me. Theres so much money to be made designed websites for people, i just think its healthy to have a shot at it myself. Its just funding the web space. Cheers for the nice comment.
