Hi All,

Well, I keep seeing posts about "have you tried this CMS?" or "what's the best CMS for that client?", and because I don't want to be all spammy and keep jumping in saying "Hey, we do that!" I hold back. But it looks like this is the place where it's OK to beat your own drum so, here goes:

The OpenSites Web Development Platform is a professional online sitebuilder / CMS, developed for Web Designers / Developers. It is NOT an end-user tool like Mr Site or similar, because you do need enough HTML / CSS skills to implement your own designs through the templating system. You do not need any server-side skills however, even to add all the e-commerce and other modules (more than 30 in all).

OpenSites is entirely free to trial and use; you just pay whenever you launch a site. Pricing is straightforward (and, I think, competitive). For example, if you build a 10 page content managed site with a form and host it with us, the only cost will be £90 per year for the hosting.
