I know this is a bit of a liberty since I've only just joined, but I *would* like some assistance if possible.
For want of a better word I 'created' a site using Joomla 1.5 for a group of young kids who wanted to start a site covering the whole of ice skating in Australia.
I called it 'Australian Ice Skating'... as you would... and loaded a forum into Joomla, and a few words to make it look 'acceptable'. The content should really be up to them... though of course I'll probably end up writing most of it! I think they want to chat in the forum about skating!!
Thing is that now I look at it the basic theme is really daggy and I don't really know where to start making a sensible logo to represent the site focus... Australian ice skating. I got as far as pasting a couple of ice skate outlines on an Australian flag shaped like Os... and realised I was out of my depth!

Edit: Not sure how it shows 'Welcome to the Frontpage' - it should read 'http://australianiceskating.com'!!
