Hey all! I just stumbled upon this website as I have been looking for a great design forum for awhile.

My name is Lisa, I'm 21 and from Atlantic Canada. I have always had an interest in design but it is only over the past year that I have actually been able to dive more into it. A little overwhelming at times, but I am trying to get the hang of it!

I am university student completing an undergrad in marketing. I recently joined my university's business competition team and to be honest, we're pretty awesome and we've somewhat set a standard for ourselves as well as competing teams over the past few years. The most significant characteristic that sets us a part from other teams throughout Canada is our knack for fresh, professional print media and presentation style.

I only joined this team a few months ago and as such, I have somehow managed to become the person who is filling the void of the amazing designer who just graduated and has since left the team to begin their career. I am not as near as experienced or knowledgeable as they are but I really want to try my hardest.

I hope you can share your insight and tips which will help me grow as a designer. Although, my first task is to design a great annual report. Any pointers, drop me a line!
