I very much agree with zumo, You have a good start.
I think you might want to refine your designs to better reflect the watch that you are trying to sell. I don't know where you are but I would guess the UK, Here in Canada a watch add like this would not have prices on it. I don't know what your going for, it may be bargain shopping but, I am pretty sure that a graphic design never wants to give the feeling (at least not bluntly of bargain shopping.
Again Good start, and i think you'll get there.
I think your two color piece (The silver watch one) is definitely the better, however it still is just typical guy model. and watches. I like your tag Line, "every second counts" maybe you can do something more related to that theme.
