If you want to look really cool, then install Ubuntu on your box. Anyone that installs Ubuntu will quickly find that they are using terminal quite frequently. I have a dual boot setup of WinXP/Ubuntu, and had to use terminal for quite a few things. I have seen xorg.conf one too many times. In fact, I really don't recommend Ubuntu for anyone unless they are a computer beginner or hardcore geek. While I am not a beginner, I didn't feel that I was hardcore enough to use Ubuntu on a daily basis. Wine didn't work as well as I had hoped, and I just have too many programs to lose if I tried to go to Ubuntu full time. The one thing I loved about Ubuntu, that I miss over on the Windows side of my box, is that the FTP ran like 10 times as quick.

Anyways, I think a little Terminal experience is good for anyone.
