ur hi-fi has a auxillary left n right phono in the back?
mapllin : 3.5mm to 2 Phono lead then switch ur hifi to Aux.
edit: misread ur question... as far as i know there is no way to connect speaker copper wire to a mac or a PC....without another device involved
