I can't remember exactly where the setting is in version 8.. but I do remember some nuisance in a setting somewhere (been forever since i dealt with tables).. BUT there is an answer.
Sense the one at work is set up like you want it anyway, you can just copy your "Configuration Settings" from that computer. If you are working on mutual projects, you could always back up your Site Definitions too. Anyhow. here's how to backup your global configurations:
Manually backing up the Configuration folder
In order to manually back up the Dreamweaver Configuration folder, along with any user-created snippets, copy your personal Configuration folder into a location you will be able to easily remember later. Here are the locations of the personal Configuration folders (for multiuser platforms) and the default location for the application's Configuration folder (for single-user platforms):
In Windows XP and Windows 2000, goto-->
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration
Just copy the contents of the folder. Save it to a jump drive or whatever and restore them on your Home PC in the same folder.
