Had a little think about link exchanges between designers the other day, bare with me while I ramble my thoughts out.

It is always a great help to get well worded anchor text links into your site but not many designers build this into their site aminly due to PR reasons.

For example not everyone wants to advertise other designers on their home page, or even on every page with a link in their side bar, footer etc. So my thought was for designers to get together and all build a links page, one click away from the home page, then people leave their site link page for others to link to.

The trick I thought was what if we all linked to each other link pages rather than each others home pages that way after time the link pages will start to grow stengnth due to the network of links in and out, you could even exchange 3-5 links containing various keywords but only to the others link pages. There's nothing illegal about it just a way of all sharing our text links without being galringly plastered all over our lovley looking sites.

Any thoughts on this matter I would love to here and also leave your name if you might be interested, it doesn't matter if your site is a PR6 or a PR1 because the link page will be new and will all gain linking power as we go.
