I just visited your site and you have a perfectly good banner on there at the moment. Wouldn't it be better to keep that until you save up enough money to pay a designer?
What is the site for, btw? With a name like
Visual Brush I would guess it was for digital artists. Wouldn't one of your members be willing to make a new banner? People are more willing to do pro bono work when it's for something they're involved in.
