has anyone else ever read a google job posting when they are seeking new designers?
They always say something like "looking for a designer that can implement extremely clean and interesting design, like the google brand"
What is soo interesting about hte google brand? The story behind it is that it is total crap done by a professor who is not a designer. I hate how people think that google has a good logo just because they are a powerhouse on the internet. Truth is that they are seriously due for a identity update, if not only because they are a huge corporation now and its time to ditch the small time logo.
I am sure there are a number of people who would disagree with this, but seriously look at the google logo. It is about as horrible as you can get, *******ized type, horrible kerning, and ridiculous proportion.
