Hi Candra

As it is your first job and a new client, I don't think you can charge per hour.

You can charge per hour when you have years of experience which enable you to accurately estimate your speed - and then you will still make mistakes sometimes :)

You also need to know the client well to do so.
As Yodacola mentioned, if the client is one of the awkward types, you will end up doing endless overwhelming revisions.

My humble advice would be to charge per flyer and clarify to the client before hand that you will do UP TO A MAXIMUM of 3 samples. Submit a sample at a time, if it is not suitable, submit the second and then the third.
By saying "UP TO 3", it doesn't mean you HAVE TO submit 3!

Somebody might argue that this is a harsh approach...but to be honest if after 3 samples your client is not satisfied, then you are the wrong person for the job.

PS. however you decide to charge, make sure you don't sell your artwork for cheap...not $5, not $10, not $20. Believe in your work and sell it for what it is worth!

~PEACE~
