The main thing that struck me was the the sidebar buttons feel a bit sluggish. Otherwise it's fine.
Oh, i also tried to load up your amsterdam photo gallery. After the preloader finished, nothing happened and i find myself stuck in a darkened screen with no way to go back except to refresh the whole page. Might want to fix that.
Another thing is that the description text on alot of your images overlaps with the year, cutting off text at times.
