Although I do agree with your suggestion a part of me feels without any foreground I would lose any sense of distance or depth, it was a small window to capture the sunshine and colour of the sky, if I had more time I would have preferred to gone down to the beech and found a different subject for the foreground - alas, time was not on my side.
