I'm not a big fan of being directed to your blog. You have really nice work in your portfolio, but it doesn't show when you site loads. I would have an intro page that showcases you, then be directed to you as a designer or to the blog. But, having them combined, I didn't really want to stay and look around, cause I was expecting a designer and that's not what I saw at first. Like I said earlier, use those skills, show that off, imo.
