ASP.NET vs PHP
I've got experience in PHP and understand the scripting languages well enough but my boss is heavily suggesting that i learn ASP.NET with C#, OOP coding.
my mind is struggling to make this transition. i can read the code and follow the linkings but i have no idea about the "whys" even though i can kinda see the "hows". OOP concepts evade me! is there some logic or tips that i don't know that would make this transition a little easier? my biggest problem right now is i'm thinking of how PHP does things as and then trying to make ASP.NET work in the same way... which i know is wrong but i can't avoid it.
the general concepts of if-else, arrays, and the other universals of programming are easy enough but the specific variances and methods are beyond enigma status to me. tutorials don't really cover nuance well.
any suggestions or tips would be more than appreciated.
