Hi, I'm a Graphic Design student in Perth, Australia and I'd really appreciate some input on my final project for my Vector Illustration unit. We have to create an A3 (double A4 spread) of an information graphic about anything. The only requirement is that we make visible something that would not normally be visible, like relationships between people, stats etc. The hardest part is choosing what to do and how to do it! Here's what I've thought of so far....

Life cycle
Anatomical diagram
Instruction sheet eg. aeroplane safety, how to put an Ikea item together
Timeline eg. design, fashion, transport
Bird's eye view map of city/house/etc
Gov't spending on defence vs hospitals/education/etc
Animal extinction/treatened species by ecosystem/ecozone/phylum
Carbon footprints - how much each appliance uses in a house/office, totals, impact
Japanese whaling - areas whaled, how much they take, impact
Demographics of teens/stereotypes/styles/income pa/health/literacy
Exploded image eg construction of Ikea furniture, car engine
Explain a process eg. drawing (like a tutorial)?
Explain a situation eg oggice anarchy, big night out
Emo spotting
Stereotype comparisson - jock, emo, popular etc

Any more ideas, critiques of ideas, your favourite idea, your least favourite idea, and idea branching from an idea, a topic for an idea... any input at all will be greatly appreciated!!
