but one of my all time favourites is Anderson silva one of the most well rounded fighters in mma at the moment.
People under estimate the level of skill and physical prowess these guys possess... sure alot of the fighters are just brawlers. But as the sport developes the skill aspect of the sport is starting to show. Also knowing abit about ground fighting and stand up fighting helps you can appreciate what's actually happening in the ring. |
I used to wrestle & judo also has a lot of submission holds so I do appreciate the ground game too. Some argue that this is boring compared to standup. I like the mix.
I don't recogize the names of Silva, Emelienko or Sudo. Are they UK based MMA?
I know all the UFC names & try to catch all the big matches even if it is on DVD later.
I enjoy Liddell, Hughes and of course Couture. We have a few good Canadians too... GSP (George St-Pierre) is my local fave.
