I read about this about a week ago. The kid not only was able to change the insides so that other providers work, but he also got 2 new iPhones from a company that he sold the information to. Something along those lines. But also the iPhone just dropped $200.00 yesterday. The ones who paid full fare on their phones are only getting a $100.00 rebate on another Apple item.
And did you see that the new iPods are getting wifi access? I'm getting one at the end of the month. Can't wait!
