I am one of the founders at MarcoPolo.net. We are currently looking to collaborate with a front end developer with an eye for great design. You would define the visual identity for the site and build cool, innovative UI components using semantic HTML, CSS, and javascript. Flash and AJAX experience is a big plus.
MarcoPolo.net is a map based social network in the niches of social presence and location-based content. If you are passionate about travel, mobility, online maps, social networks, or location-based services, this will be of interest to you.
This is a part-time freelance position. The ideal candidate will have a salaried "day" job or be in school and available to work for deferred compensation and/or stock options. We are based in NYC but you can work from anywhere.
