I agree on the brown, and on Toons opinion about having the top left text too close to the top edge.

I like the overall mood of the advert, as it somehow brings me back to my skating days... Bright afternoon sun, dust all over the clothes, tired, sweaty but satisfied for finally nailing that trick, with my shoes on the ground and getting some cooling wind on my feet.

Something still bothers me in addition to those I mentioned, as I'm somewhat familiar with the Globe brand, this somehow got a too grungy feel to it, even though the design is minimal. It might be the "suffocating" shadows under the shoes, which could need some lightnening in order the brighten up the mood a bit. I somehow get the feeling that those shoes will break as soon as I throw one ollie, and because of that the shadow is used to cover up the cheap materials in the shoe ;)

EDIT: Oh yeah, maybe adding some yellow on the overall color balance instead of the red, could make it more appealing to the "consumers". Because I don't think Globe as a hardcore, aggresive brand - which the red is making it look like.
