The number one mistake people make is trying too hard to rig page rank than the first step of developing content which qualifies to rank highly. And no, having 250 words of SE spam doesn't qualify.

How do people know you have good content if they can't find it. Your sites content is more about
seo not link building. You could write a whole new article about
seo. I thought it was a really interesting article and you can't just dismiss it like that.
