This is true, most are. I'm all for breaking tradition, being original, taking risks. If white is the risk to take, then the lower-right section is where I'm feeling iffy. The large color-gradient red feels flat and weak. As a solid color, or slightly color-textured (possibly layer masking or dodging), it might anchor the work.
Pink/red hues, as it roughly is now, with white could work wonderfully.
If the silhouette can be altered, something more dynamic might help too. My first thought was what would it look like if her head was sweeping right-ward with a flock of hair racing left-ward, tangling, intertwining, and itself dancing?
Wait, that might be too stripper-esq! Or Ipod-esq...
